Meeting new people

In 1st of ESO students have been performing some conversations in the English class. They have been learning how to introduce themselves and give some personal information about them and their families in order to meet new friends.

Painting with fingers

In 2nd grade we have been working Gaudí in Arts and Crafts. Last week we painted two important buildings with our fingers: La Pedrera and La Casa Batlló. We painted La Pedrera in grey tones and La Casa Batlló in bright colours. We are learning a lot about this architect and and we enjoyed painting without paintbrushes!

Manga Cartoon Characters

In 6th grade in the English class we have been learning how to describe Manga cartoon characters. In order to do so, pupils have made wonderful manga drawings, as you can see, and they have written  nice descriptions, which you can listen to in the next video.

Santa Teresa Crafts

As you already know, just a few days ago we celebrated Santa Teresa at the school. That's the reason why in Arts and Crafts in the first cycle the pupils wanted to pay homage to Santa Teresa.

The pupils in 1st grade made a key ring with modelling clay, and the pupils in 2nd grade a fridge magnet perfect to hang up some papers at home.

Santa Teresa at the school

Last Tuesday we celebrated Santa Teresa at the school. Pre-School, Primary and Secondary organised different activities carried out during the day. While Secondary went out to spend day, Pre-School and Primary could gather together at the school chapel early in the morning. After that, we could all  participate in a "gimcana", with some games, sports or with the make-up activity. In the afternoon we could have some hot chocolate too!

We all enjoyed a lot!!

 

Learning the Follow Me song

Look!  We are learning to sing and move our bodies with the Follow Me Song in 3rd grade. This is just a bit of one of the rehearsals we've been doing during the English classes.

Homeschooling

This week in 3rd grade we have started taking the Homeschooling home. Remember it is good practice for you, and this year it's longer and just a bit more difficult because we have to pronounce some words and some sentences too!
