St Patrick's day in Pre-school

Last 17th March was St Patrick's day and the litttle ones in Pre-schoool celebrated it in the afternoon.

To start with, we all saw two videos, the first one was about this festivity and about the legend of Leprechauns, and then we listened to the song called Little Leprechaun.
After that, Aimée and Leila dressep up in traditional costumes, showed us how to dance traditional dancings, and we followed their steps. We  coloured our faces too!

We all had a great time!!!

4th Sant Josep Spring Festival

Last 20th March we celebrated the 4th Sant Josep Spring Festival at the school. It was organised by Maurici, the Music teacher, who has been preparing this Festival. All Primary courses sang different songs, and some of the pupils played instruments too, such as flutes, saxophones, the violin, the piano... and they were all dressep up in different colours and styles!

We all spent a good time, enjoyed with the Festival, even the little ones of Pre-school !!!

Congratulations Santa Teresa!

Last 15th October it was a very important day at our school.... Santa Teresa! And this year with renewed hopes, we walk to the fifth centenary of her birth!

We celebrated this event with many activities at the school. In the morning we prayed in the classes with a special time dedicated to her. Then, we prepared the classes, the corridors, and the playgrounds to record our LIPDUB, and after enjoying a longer time at the playground, everyone ready for ....

    3,2,1 action !!!! (You'll certainly enjoy it)

In the afternoon we carried out the activity called "Apadrinament", where students from 4th Primary to 3rd of ESO  gave as a present balloons to pupils from P3 to 3rd Primary, and they shared this time to talk or draw.

And later we all had chocolate and we danced!

It was a special day for everyone!

III Sant Josep Spring Festival!!

Last 21st March was the first day of spring  and the Poetry World Day. To celebrate that  at the school, last Friday we enjoyed with different activities to awaken the senses.

In the morning the group Garbuix were playing for us, the concert called "Carnaval dels Animals".

 

In the afternoon we could all participate in the III Sant Josep Spring Festival. With the school repesentative  Joan Carles Moreno, member of the UNESCO Catalan schools, we all travelled through spring time  with the poems we read, and the wide variety of songs that we all sang.

A week of celebrations!

This week we have had two celebrations, last 27th January it was Sant Enric d'Osso and on 30th January the World Peace Day.

On Sant Enric d'Osso's Day the students of 3rd of ESO prepared some cool activities for all the school, such as sport activities, memory games, magic activities and so on.

Then in the afternoon all the students of the school danced in a Flashmob, following the music and all of us dancing at the same time! Finally we had some hot chocolate too!!!

 On Thursday we all gathered together at the playground and we made the symbol of Peace with some white balloons. We read the Peace Manifest and then let the balloons go up in the sky. In the end we also read some nice compositions about "Quin món voldria jo".

La Castanyada at the school

Last Thursday we could all enjoy celebrating La Castanyada at the school. We could all make our own "panallets", the older ones helping the little ones and then we ate them in the afternoon. It was great to prepare them!

Then in the afternoon we enjoyed with some music, poems, riddles and we ate our own panallets.
