Jessica, who is the Language Assistant for this year at the school, has been practising with Primary pupils to improve their speaking abilities. In 3rd grade pupils in small groups have been speaking with her too. They are given different pictures and they  have to describe different things, such as fruit, places, things...  They are doing a good job! And all the time they communicate in English.

English class in P5

During the first term in P5 we have been working really hard!!
We've met Bobby Bear and his friends Peter and Mary
We've learnt to use "I like... / I don't like...", and lots of new words, such as pencil, backpack, eraser, window...
We know the words for the family, the letters A,B,C,D, and how to express feelings, such as happy, sad, angry, excited, sleepy and bored!!

If you want to practise at home and listen to the songs we've learnt here are the links:

Finally, here's a video of part of the daily routine, the mini-teacher is doing a "Numbers Game" with all the class,  and then we're all singing and dancing the "Mummy and Daddy I love you".

Pinky Pig

Last November 1st and 2nd grade saw the play called Pinky Pig. In this show with puppets, Pînky Pig goes to class to the farm, and he is really excited because everything is new and funny! But Pinky Pig will soon realise that he has to learn some things if he wants to have a good relationship with everyone in the farm.
We have understood all the show, enjoyed seeing it and laughed with the puppets a lot!!

Reading in groups

During this term we have been working hard in the English lessons. Today we are going to show you a different way to work a Reading lesson. We have joined both classes and each student has one sentence of the story “Max at school” to practise. Each group has represented the story in front of the rest of the class.
We have enjoyed and learned a lot!!!
