Ashni Gandhi

This is the presentation Ashni wrote about herself, she will be with us this year as the Language Assistant teacher helping students with their oral skills.

My name is Ashni Gandhi, I am a student at the University of Illinois and major in English and Spanish.  I aspire to be a lawyer and go to law school after my studies. In my free time I like to read, stay active, and play violin. Here in Barcelona, I stay with a host mom to practice my Spanish and make the most out of my experience!
See you today in class,
Ashni

Playing with the domino!

In first grade we have done Arts and Crafts in English. We have made domino pieces with some basic vocabulary and pictures like animals, numbers… First of all, we have prepared and cut some pictures with each name and then we have glued them in colourful cardboards. Then, we have played domino in groups.
It has been very interesting to mix Arts and Crafts with English.

Have a look how we enjoyed doing and playing this activity!

Let's go camping!

In 6th grade, after watching some episodes of Team Spirit in the class, we have all acted one of these episodes. The last episode was about a class that has to go camping as part of  a school activity.
We have made groups, written the dialogues, practised them, and acted as if we were the real characters in Team Spirit.
We have really worked hard and the representations were great!!!

Christmas wishes!!!

This year in 6th grade we have written down some of our BEST  WISHES for next Christmas Season.
In all our wishes we have wished the best for our families, friends and classmates; we have wished peace and no wars in the world; we have wished the best for people who are in special need these days too.
Moreover, most of our Christmas wishes have been really special and we have wished the joy, happiness and love for all of us.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
