An English Day

Last 23rd April we celebrated our first English Day at the school. For this occasion several activities were organised, and the goal was to practice English during the day and have fun!
Fashion Catwalk
In the morning the students of 2nd of ESO had made up and designed their own outfits, and they walked with  them wearing them as in a real Fashion Catwalk. They explained all the complements and clothes to us!

Story Telling
The students of 3rd of ESO  had prepared some tales and short stories to explain to the little ones of the school. They had a great time together!

English Language Contest
The students of 4th and 1st of ESO gathered together to participate in the English Language Contest. They had to spell words and they had fun with it!

Magic Show
Then in the afternoon there was the Magic Show of Albert Llorens. All the show was in English, he showed us some nice and wonderful tricks, and some of us could also participate with him as helpers with his magic tricks. We understood a lot and had a really nice time with him!

Tales and short stories!

Yesterday it was a really special day. We celebrated St. George's Day and our first English Day at the school.
The students of 2nd of ESO and 2nd of Batxillerat  have written some tales and short stories for the occasion.
They have created their own books. They have written really original tales and  short stories in the format of  books. In order to do so, they have used special materials and decorations to create them. Have a look at the photos of some of the covers and some parts of the stories.
They are great!!

Singing "Caramelles"

After working for two terms in the Caramelles project, the great day finally arrived!

Last 11th April we could all go out to sing Caramelles to the shops nearby and to "La Sedeta" square.
It was all great, even the weather!

The pupils of 6th grade have been the conductors and all of us enjoyed a lot. It has been a nice and rewarding experience indeed.

Look at the following presentation of photos Mireia has prepared for us. She has coordinated the project along with Maurici.

Speaking with Shannon

The students of the 6th grade have been practising their spoken English with Shannon. These days they have been using the past tense, and have asked questions to each other in order to guess what activity was on their foreheads.
They have learnt and enjoyed a lot! Listen to them!
